Life Itself is a community of people with a nagging suspicion that a wiser world is possible, being audacious enough, together, to build containers for different ways of being. I direct research for the community and foment necessary conversations and interventions.
Contemplative Activism
What kind activism follows if "outer" action cannot be separate from "inner" consciousness? Our members, involved in diverse activist and contemplative traditions, explore the implications of this question for their lives and work. See here for more.
Citizen Science
As part of the Plum Village community of mindfulness practice, I facilitate exchange between scientists and contemplatives. I also work to organise contemplative practioners who feel called to be ‘citizen scientists’ ─ helping science forward with mutual humility.
